We have just concluded the 7th phase of season 7 of the highly popular ‘Your LoveWorld Specials’ with Pastor Chris Oyakhilome. This coincided with the 200th episode of this inspiring program which began in 2020.
During this ‘Month of Dominion‘, on the final night, at the grand finale, Pastor Chris had a lot of valuable insight for the participants saying: “God’s people have to learn the language of the kingdom. He hath said so that we may boldly say. If you don’t say it you will be living the life of the ordinary man, you will be living the life of this world; you will be functioning from a death doomed body. But he said, “If the spirit of Him that raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also vitalize your mortal body by His Spirit that lives in you.”
“Once the Holy Ghost has vitalized your mortal body, it’s no longer death doomed and the generation of the church that catches this is the generation of the rapture,” was another important message from Pastor Chris.
The Man of God gave relatable examples of biblical times saying, “Remember the bible says by faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death. Before his translation, he had the testimony that he pleased God. And Without faith, it is impossible to please Him, for He that cometh to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. That’s important.”
He expounded on that message by adding: “Now that you are in Christ Jesus, your life must exude favor upon favor; grace upon grace.”
On Day 2 Pastor Chris spoke of the way we possess a heart of kindness as Christians and so cannot act in the evil ways of the world.
Leave no room for the devil
The main message from the Man of God at these insightful meetings is not to be fooled by evil forces, and to leave no room for the devil.
In a recent sermon, Pastor Chris said when describing a popular idiom “give an inch take a mile” of people trying to take advantage of a small concession given to them: Satan is no different in his evil agenda to pollute and destroy the human race, which is why we are admonished in scripture to give him no room (Ephesians 4:27 AMPC).
Pastor Chris continues to say that “Several Christians are sadly, falsely optimistic; so they stand by thoughtlessly watching Satan’s varied attempts to wreak havoc on the nations, believing that it’s better to just ignore them than to try to deal with them. But the Lord Jesus told us what to do with regard to demons – He told us to cast them out! Mark 16:17 NIV says, “And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name, they will drive out demons.”
“We must understand that the only restraining force on the earth is the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit. It’s our responsibility to fight in prayer- in the spiritual, because as declared by our Lord Jesus, we belong to a Kingdom that’s not of this world (John 18:36). We have a responsibility for our world to subdue the forces of darkness through prayer.”
Remember, Jesus brought healing and health; He brought light, joy, and peace. He destroyed ALL the works of the devil.
