It has been an eventful month with Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, which we will recap as we count our blessings over the last few weeks. The month started off with the Global Communion Service and Praise Night with Pastor Chris where he announced the word of the month. We are leading up to the March Global Communion Service on Sunday the 5th of March at 3:00 PM GMT +1.
Recapping the Global Communion Service and Praise Night with Pastor Chris
This was the 13th edition of the Praise night services, and it was held alongside the February Global Communion Service, it was also the first in the ‘Year of the Prolific Church’.
Ministering in a previous edition of this service, Pastor Chris emphasized the premium we all should place on praising God. ‘’Our songs of praise and thanksgiving to God comes as incense to Him; they have spiritual significance. Never get tired of praising God, the Psalmist said, let everything that has breath praise the Lord,’’ he explained.
In previous Global Communion Services, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome reminded LoveWorld members of the higher purpose of these types of gatherings.
He said: “The Global Communion Service is a platform for believers to receive a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit and renew their commitment to fulfilling God’s purpose for their lives.”
“The word of God tells us to sing to the Lord a new song. Our songs of praise and thanksgiving come to God as incense; they are of spiritual significance to God. Never get tired of praising God! The services let everything that has breath to praise the Lord,” Pastor Chris Oyakhilome added.
The ‘Month of Possession’
Great rejoicing across the globe met the announcement of February 2023, to be the ‘Month of Possession’ by Pastor Chris at the February Global Communion and Praise Service on Sunday. “This month you will convert your inheritance to your possession by the power of the Holy Ghost,” Pastor Chris prophetically declared when he revealed the word of the month.
Recounting the story of how Caleb inherited Hebron irrespective of the presence of the giants in Joshua 14:7-15, Pastor Chris taught that there is a difference between being allotted an inheritance and taking possession of that inheritance. “He converted the inheritance to a possession,” he remarked, referring to Caleb. Pastor Chris furthered that in this month of February, the house of Jacob shall possess all their possessions.
“It was already yours, but now we enter it. Now we take possession of it by the power of the Holy Ghost. The power of the Holy Ghost shall slay every giant. Every resistance shall be destroyed. The power of the Holy Ghost will break every barrier. This is the Month of Possession. Give God praise,” Pastor Chris Oyakhilome added.
Recapping the LoveWorld Praise-A-Thon with Pastor Chris and Pastor Benny
This month we also participated in the 13th edition of the 5-day program of ‘Your LoveWorld Praise-A-Thon‘ with Pastor Chris and Pastor Benny Hinn. It is evident that the power of God has been manifested in previous episodes of this program, which brought heightened expectations to the global audience around the world.
Once again, the President, LoveWorld Inc., Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, and renowned healing evangelist, God’s General, Pastor Benny Hinn were joined by seasoned ministers of the Gospel including, Bishop Clarence McClendon, Dr. Mike Smalley, Dr. John Avanzini, Bishop James Payne and Pastor Dan Willis to minister God’s Word to God’s people.
“This program is of continuous praise, thanksgiving to God, and acknowledging the power and grace in the gospel,” Pastor Chris emphasized when he officially introduced the program in the past.
Praise is the common theme in all these programs
Pastor Chris opened the ‘Your LoveWorld Praise-A-Thon’ by saying: “The most important thing that we do for God is to praise him. Whatever we give to God, He already owns it.”
“You can make anything on this Earth to give to God. He owns everything, but He calls us to praise him. The Bible tells us that there are different types of prayers, but the highest of them all is the prayer of praise. What is praise?” he asked.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome explained that “The Bible defines praise in Hebrews 13:15: ‘By him, therefore, let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.’
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome also said that there is so much to thank God for.
“Thank him with your life,” he stated.
Minister, close friend, and colleague, the acclaimed Pastor Benny Hinn began his sermon by blessing the Lord.
“Blessed Jesus, I thank you for what you are doing already and what you will continue to do in our hearts and our lives. To you belongs all the glory. Thank you, Lord! Thank you for the privilege you have given us to serve. To you be all the praise. And God’s people said Amen.”
A platform for esteemed ministers to share their messages
Aside from Pastor Chris Oyakhilome and Pastor Benny Hinn, the LoveWorld Praise-A-Thon provides a platform for even other esteemed religious leaders to share their messages of hope, faith, and inspiration with the LoveWorld audience.
Dr. John Avanzini gave a profound message on the first day of the event.
“In this week, you will have something coming to your spirit, and you will know that you are going to be wealthy. God wants you to be wealthy. He wants you to have exceedingly all that you could possibly think,” he said.
The spiritual leader went on to explain that: “God wants you to be the head and the tail that is above or beneath. Child of God, hear all over this world – the spirit of this week will never end. We will learn the truth of God step by step. A miracle will come to the abundance that God has designed for you.”
He continued to say that: “a rich God does not want poor children. Our God has people that he is training to be reward-motivated. Be those people who are reward-motivated.”
We have witnessed already benefitted from the ‘Year of the Prolific Church’, and cannot wait to see what is next in store for the LoveWorld community.
