We have just concluded the 5-day program of ‘Your LoveWorld Praise-A-Thon with Pastor Chris Oyakhilome. This was the first one of the ‘Year of the Prolific Church’.
We have had the privilege of hearing and learning from Pastor Benny Hinn and other seasoned ministers about the messages from the Gospel. These great men included Bishop James Payne, Bishop Clarence McClendon, Dr. John Avanzini, Dr. Mike Smalley, and Pastor Dan Willis.
Your set path to blessings and changes
Pastor Christ told us on the first day at the opening of the program: “The highest kind of prayer is the prayer of praise.”
“The most important thing that we do for God is to praise him. Whatever we give to God, He already owns it.”
“You can make anything on this Earth to give to God. He owns everything, but He calls us to praise him. The Man of God also emphasized the need to thank God, saying: “Thank him with your life.”
God’s General, Pastor Benny Hinn started his teachings on the first day by blessing the Lord.
“Blessed Jesus, I thank you for what you are doing already and what you will continue to do in our hearts and our lives. To you belongs all the glory. Thank you, Lord! Thank you for the privilege you have given us to serve. To you be all the praise. And God’s people said Amen.”
He then went on to say: “You, as the body of Christ, are going to see a mighty change. A blessed change of abundance in your life that you have never seen before. And the reason I am saying this is because I believe God is going to take the scales off our eyes so that we will see, and we will believe that without giving, our future will not be secure.”
“God wants you to be wealthy”
Dr. John Avanzini took the stage on the first day to speak about wealth.
“In this week, you will have something coming to your spirit, and you will know that you are going to be wealthy. God wants you to be wealthy. He wants you to have exceedingly all that you could possibly think,” he said.
Dr. John Avanzini explained that “God wants you to be the head and the tail that is above or beneath. Child of God, hear all over this world – the spirit of this week will never end. We will learn the truth of God step by step. A miracle will come to the abundance that God has designed for you.”
He also said that “a rich God does not want poor children. Our God has people that he is training to be reward-motivated. Be those people who are reward-motivated.”
We also learned not to be financial victims and in the past Pastor Chris has taught us that prosperity is beyond money.
“This prosperity, however, is beyond money; the presence or absence of money doesn’t change your state or condition spiritually, and therefore shouldn’t change your testimony of God. Money is a tool. If for example, you require something, and your money isn’t enough for it, that doesn’t mean you can’t have it; you can get it free! That’s the life of prosperity I’m talking about. God never said, “Except you have the money, nothing will be yours”; rather, He said plainly, “…all things are yours” (1 Corinthians 3:21). What’s important is the purchasing power, and your purchasing power isn’t money, it’s your faith! You’re what God says you are, irrespective of the currencies you have at hand or don’t have.”
Pastor Chris has emphasized this point in teaching us to live beyond our circumstances. He said: “Live beyond your circumstances, live in the future of your dreams, and celebrate your victories. when we worship God and praise Him, our spirit is attuned to His station and at that moment we can receive Rhema”
