Yesterday at the Global Communion Service, Pastor Chris announced that this month we would continue praying and fasting. The monthly communion service began with the beautiful LoveWorld choir singing, “We are LoveWorld building a happier world with love”, leading into the prayer segment of April 2020 Global Service.
A special month
Pastor Chris introduced the new month by talking about the unprecedented success of the Global Prayer Day on March 27th and urged the people to continue with prayers and fasting. Our Man of God went on to speak about the devastating economic crises facing the world today, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He begged us not to accept this new reality, not to be deceived, but to pray “for insight against desperately wicked forces.” Prayer has no boundaries, it is unlimited.

Pastor Chris went on to talk about the highlights from Global Prayer Day, which recorded a participation of over 3 billion people. The establishment and existence of our very foundation come under siege, it’s time for the Church to pray and save the nations. In an equally unprecedented response to the situation, the world witnessed what may now be described as “the largest prayer event ever to be held on the earth.” Many pastors around the world shared their expectations for this life-changing event, the Word of God has never been so vital.
Pastor Chris prays against the dark forces in the name of Jesus
Pastor Chris, Pastor Benny, and other ministers of the Christ Embassy led the congregation in prayer to stop the Coronavirus pandemic, “we take back our cities, our streets, our churches, our schools. We take them back in the name of Jesus Christ.”
Pastor Chris reminded us that we must come to unite in prayer and put a stop to the plots of the evil against the world. The Church is the only force that can fight against darkness, and if we pray together persistently, in the name of Jesus Christ, we will win.
1 Corinthians 11:23-26
Pastor Chris gave us the scriptures that heralded the new month, “For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.” For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the body and blood of the New Testament. The Lord bless you more and more, in Jesus’ name, Amen.”
Keep praying and fasting
