For a man to have achieved so much in his life, it is only fitting that many people question: “How old is Pastor Chris?”

Honoring Pastor Chris

With a global following of millions of LoveWorld and Christ Embassy believers worldwide, they have decided to give back to their communities in order to honor their pastor, teacher, mentor, and life coach, doing what they have learned to do from their Man of God: giving back.

The LoveWorld International Day of Service was started 10 years ago, in December 2013, and has since been adopted as an annual event to commemorate Pastor Chris and the work that he does in helping others all over the world.

This allows each member of the LoveWorld Nation to roll up their sleeves in service and give a birthday gift to the Man of God by rendering acts of service in his honor.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome said: “Success is looking out for a need and reaching out to meet that need.”

We believe that as a member of the LoveWorld nation, we have been brought up in a culture that nurtures service, and the value and impact of investing in others. The LoveWorld International Day of Service is seen as a God-given opportunity to give back to our communities and give meaning to other people’s lives.

The LoveWorld Day of Service is also an opportunity for soul-winning as we impact everyone around us, allowing many grateful people around the world to experience wonderful, unexpected acts of kindness, generosity, and love attributed to our Man of God, Pastor Chris as core values practiced by members of the ministry.

The concept of giving

Pastor Chris reminds us that one of the most central values in Christianity is the concept of giving. Through giving, the Word of God ensures constant and continued economic prosperity. Many people overlook and disregard the importance of giving. Additionally, they are not as eager to give as they are to receive. Yet the promised blessing is to the giver and not to the receiver. And thus, as Jesus said: “It is more blessed to give than to receive”.

“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work” (2 Corinthians 9:8)

The Man of God tells us that God can grace you with every blessing and favor in richness. This is not just about money. Giving or receiving. The Word of Jesus was about the entire concept of giving. Sow the seed of anything good you want from life in others, it will then grow and multiply in your own life.

He reminds us of the verse from Matthew 7:23: “Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.”
