You need to believe that prayer is the answer to your problems. Your relationship with God is the trigger of your success. If you have no faith in the Lord above your life can fall apart. On the show, Marilyn discusses a miracle in Elisha’s life, where bread was multiplied and fed a multitude of prophets. A hundred hungry prophets were fed with only twenty loaves of bread. Moreover, they even had leftovers. This should teach you that God has more than enough for you, and he has leftovers to pass on. Through this story, God really gave Marilyn something new about the Word of knowledge and wisdom.
In 1 Corinthians 12 it talks about these three gifts for the mind:
- The Word of knowledge, something you didn’t know that God drops in your heart
- The Word of wisdom, how to act with the Word of knowledge
- Discern whatever spirit is working
This has been given to every one of us, remember that all three are available to every believer.
We all need miracles
The Bible is full of the miraculous. We have a loving Heavenly Father who wants to provide every need in this life and give eternal life.
“Now the sons of the prophets said to Elisha, See, the place where we dwell under your charge is too small for us. Let us go to the Jordan and each of us get there a log, and let us make a place for us to dwell there. And he answered, Go.” 2 Kings 6:1-2
But something goes unplanned, they had borrowed an Axe, and the Axe head had fallen off. When we borrow things and then we don’t return them, this can leave a bad impression, and these were the prophets.
These prophets were at the Jordan River, and the water took the head of the ax to all these other places.
Some of you have lost some very important things. Maybe you’ve lost your marriage, maybe you’ve lost a loved one. Maybe your son and daughter that you’ve raised in godly things are out here in the world with who knows what kind of junk. There’s so much trash in the world. You need to hold on to your faith and be convicted in the Word of God.
