After an incredible kickoff to the World Evangelism Conference in the first half of day one, expectations grew for all the glory that would come over the next two days. The second session of the day did not disappoint as the highly anticipated teaching of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome and Pastor Benny Hinn commenced. Pastors, church leaders, and believers of all ages from Germany, Russia, Ukraine, Denmark, Greenland, Finland, Indonesia, France, Togo, Sweden, and many more were all in attendance with expectant hearts. In total, there were over 170 countries represented which is even more than the number of countries in participation at the 2018 Olympic games!
Prayers for the Gospel to go forth into the ends of the earth with unhindered advancement took over the arena of over 20,000 people. Following this powerful time of prayer, the second session began with the next Super Session, led by Pastor Kelepi Viekoso of Christ Embassy Pacific. After opening with gratitude and thanks for Pastor Chris and LoveWorld Inc CEO Pastor Deola Phillips, Pastor Kelepi Viekoso spoke about the compelling love of God that pushes the gospel of Jesus forth. Evangelism is exactly that! When we share the love of God with others, we release His authority into the atmosphere, and it changes everything.
As the man of God Pastor Chris took the podium, the audience focused their hearts and attention towards the profound wisdom that was to come from both Pastor Chris and Pastor Benny. Pastor Chris pierced the crowd with the truth of God’s Word as he spoke of the great victory we have with Christ. The power of God is the only thing to extinguish the power of the enemy. When we become believers of this power, we can no longer look at the world as we once did. In speaking about how the Holy Spirit comes to us, Pastor Chris says:
“God’s Word will come to you in a way that you never knew it before … Remember, the Word is God. So, when the Word comes to you, God comes to you.”
With great gratitude for fellow evangelical leader Pastor Benny Hinn, Pastor Chris welcomes him to the podium with a holy hug. Pastor Benny spoke about what it truly looks like to live life with your heart set on seeing Jesus. We are all evangelists and our lives are to be living representations of Christ’s power on the earth. Pastor Benny spoke on finishing the race strong as he read from John chapter 12 which reads:
“Jesus replied, ‘The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it for eternal life.’” John 12:23-25
