We are a mere ten days away from the biggest healing crusade ever, the 8th edition of Healing Streams Live Healing Services with Pastor Chris Oyakhilome. Each edition increases exponentially to a record-breaking number of participants taking place worldwide.
This ‘Month of Joy‘, the Man of God, Pastor Chris told us in the July 2023 edition of the Healing to the Nations magazine:
“Let God’s Word become the light by which you see. Then, you’ll discover that the condition is a mirage; it’s not real. The doctors may have said, “There’s no way out, you’ll never get well,” but the reality is what the Word of God gives you. When you function in faith, it doesn’t matter what you go through, your life will be tops all the time! Even when change seems impossible, you’ll know that you can only come out victorious!”
Each encounter of Healing Streams Live Healing Services unveils God’s grace and virtue aligning the global congregation with His will for their good health. Every episode reflects God’s dynamic power to carry wholeness and salvation to people everywhere.
You are the caretaker of your body given by God
Pastor Chris reminds us: “Your body belongs to God; it is the tabernacle of the Holy Spirit, His house. Though your body belongs to God, He made you its caretaker. God has already done all He needs to do about your health, so there’s no reason not to enjoy divine health every day. You ought to be healthy and strong always and the responsibility to keep your body right is on you. Healthy living is a conscious lifestyle that is obtainable by making positive choices and developing healthy habits for the improvement of your well-being. What you do with your body, or to your body, will determine the quality of your health – physically and otherwise. Cultivate healthy habits that will keep your body healthy.”
Pastor Chris informs us that besides God’s will for us to walk in perfect health, we also need to practice healthy living habits. These include drinking water, eating nutritious, well-balanced meals, exercising, and resting enough. Over and above these habits we must include spiritual well-being, meditating on the Word of God, and keeping a happy heart.
“God’s Word is true medicine to your body. The Bible says that the Word is life unto those that find it and health to their flesh (Proverbs 4:22). The importance of the Word of God cannot be overemphasized. Study and meditate on God’s Word concerning your health and make bold faith confessions every day; it will produce the result of what it talks about in your body.”
“A happy heart is good medicine, and a cheerful mind works healing, but a broken spirit dries up the bones (Proverbs 17:22 AMPC). Some diseases, such as cancer, draw strength from depression, bitterness, anger, resentment, malice, and sadness. But laughter has curative powers and is an expression of joy and cheerfulness. If people who are sick or faced with dire circumstances in their lives would act simply on God’s Word by learning to laugh often, they’ll be amazed at the sudden change. You have joy in your recreated spirit; as such, laughter is natural for you. Learn to pull back and laugh often as part of your healthy living routine,” Pastor Chris reminds us.
