In this month of Uplifting, we heard Pastor Chris talk about healing as he cited the example of the lame beggar who was healed by Peter when he accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior. Pastor Chris went on to explain that the Uplifting power of Our Lord Jesus can be accessed through talking.
Talking on the international stage is an honor. When your organization works tirelessly to giving Universal Health Coverage there is no better feeling of uplift than to be asked to share your knowledge and expertise. The Trauma Care International Foundation participated in a meeting that took place on the 23rd of September 2019 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, United States.
“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:2
The Trauma Care International Foundation (TCIF) is a registered Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) that aims to improve trauma care through health education and advocacy. When emergency responders are trained, the outcomes of accidents are significantly improved. This initiative goes a long way to meeting the United Nations’ aim of improving global access to Universal Health Cover. We are all influenced by the teachings of Jesus Christ and in this month of Uplifting, we see His Gospel being spread to all four corners of the globe.
This message of Universal Health Coverage For All means that all people will eventually have access to the health services they need and not just in an emergency. Not only does this include health advocacy, but disease prevention, as well. It does not matter what your socioeconomic status is because all of God’s children should be able to find suitable medical care.
Who Was The Voice At The Summit?
TCIF was represented by the esteemed Senior Executive Officer, Dr. Olajumoke Akisanya, as they received ECOSOC Consultative Status by the United Nations. They can now participate in events and make a genuine difference through dialogue and discussion. All of this has happened in the month of Uplifting!
This event was for the United Nations to discuss the issues that most nations face when implementing Universal Health Coverage. As the TCIF seeks to improve trauma care and emergency response in its member nations, its contribution to achieving Universal Health Coverage has been recognized. thanks to the President of Loveworld Inc., Rev. Dr. Chris Oyakhilome, the CEO of our beloved LW Nation, Pastor Dr. Deola Phillips and other highly esteemed Pastors and Partners.
On Community Sunday at the end of the month of Uplifting, we can reflect on the verse Philippians 4:19, which reads:
“ But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus”.
Through the vision of Pastor Chris and the ministry of Jesus, we are on a road to achieving Universal Health Care for all. If you would like to donate to this wonderful and uplifting cause, visit the website here and help further the work of the Trauma Care International Foundation.
