Pastor Chris Enjoys Jerusalem Day by Spreading the Word of God

Praise the Lord, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome has done it again. The Pastor has organized an eight-day, event-filled trip, to the Holy Land. The Bible Tour will be led by Pastor Chris and the hundreds of followers who have been given this once in a lifetime opportunity to fully examine the life Jesus lived, and further strengthen the bond that Christians, especially Evangelicals, have to the Land of Israel. Not only did the Pastor organize the trip in Israel but he did it just in time for the 70th year of the independence of the State of Israel, and the year that the capital has finally been declared what it truly is, by moving the US Embassy there. This is just one example of many ways Israel and the US share an extremely close and strong bond.

Pastor Chris’s delegation began their day by visiting the old Orthodox community in an area in Jerusalem, then diverted out of the city to Hebron. The delegation was taken aback by the diversity of the people in Jerusalem and its surrounding areas, and the passion they have for their country. They continued to visit the Machpela Caves, mentioned in Genesis, where Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob are buried. Alongside them are the graves of the Matriarchs, Sarah, Rebecca, and Leah, as well as Adam and Eve.

Pastor Chris’s delegation continued on to visit the Friends of Zion Museum, located in central Jerusalem, which honors and tells the story of the non-Jews who have helped establish and support the State of Israel. The delegation was impressed by the modernized technology the museum has, and the sound and light effects. It was important to Pastor Chris to visit this museum because of the bondage it represents the Christian and the Jewish community. It was also important to Pastor Chris to visit because the founder of the museum, Dr. Mike Evans, is a renowned Evangelical and a proud supporter of Israel. The delegation ended their day off by visiting the Garden Tomb & Golgatha, where the burial and resurrection of Jesus occurred.

Safe to say, it was a very successful end to the day. The delegation was filled with excitement after today, as they witnessed how openminded and appreciative the people of Israel are for Evangelicals and Pastor Chris. It was thrilling to see how gracious they were towards them and how moved the crowd was. It truly was a once in a lifetime experience to see the strong bond between Jews and Christians is and how it will continue to evolve.
