Nigerian LoveWorld Citizens Cast Their Vote

Thousands of Love World brethren responded to Pastor Chris’s encouraging call to vote yesterday. His KingsChat post, “Don’t neglect to carry out your civic duty; faith without works is dead”, prompted multitudes of Loveworld citizens across the country to line up at the ballots and choose the man who will lead them into the future.

Among these thousands of voters were also many highly esteemed Christ Embassy dignitaries such as the CEO of Love World Inc., Pastor Deola Phillips, who posted a picture of herself at the Lagos polling station in Port Harcourt Zone 3, the esteemed Director of Corporate Affairs, Pastor Ifeoma Chiemeka and Zonal Pastor for South-South Zone 1 Pastor Obi Umeseagbu.

These pastors decided to inspire others with their actions by posting their memorable moments of national pride on KingsChat. Their posts were very well received by millions around the world cheering them on, liking, commenting and lauding them for taking full advantage of this special civic freedom.

Among the 31 presidential candidates, of the most prominent contenders are President Muhammadu Buhari, and the former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar. President Muhammadu Buhari who also served as Head of State between 1983 and 1985 seeks a second term in democratic office. Business tycoon, Atiku Abubakar has also previously served in office as the Vice-President to President Olusegun Obasanjo. As a VP, he now aims to make it as president for the first time. The two prominent candidates run under the banners of APC and PDP, the nation’s two most notable political parties, respectively.

Younger first-timers and new entrants into the Presidential political scene include 35-year-old Chike Ukaegbu; former Governor Donald Duke of Rivers State; motivational speaker and social entrepreneur, Fela Durotoye; human rights activist, Omoyele Sowore; and others.
