Every year the LoveWorld community comes together to commemorate, honor, and celebrate our great Man of God, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, in lieu of his birthday on the 7th of December.
LoveWorld International Day of Service
This year Pastor Chris is celebrating his 60th milestone birthday and it is an extra special celebration. The LoveWorld community renders acts of service to people in need in honor of Pastor Chris.
All over the world, there are grateful hearts and unexpected acts of kindness, generosity, and love, thanks to the sentiment of the LoveWorld International Day of Service.
There are various categories of service that members can select, as long as they are tangible and beneficial to a third party, that is what qualifies them as acts of service. They are childcare and safety, community services, anything involving the homeless and hungry, elderly care and senior citizen care, health and safety services, and educational and school activities.
Thousands of people have posted their acts of kindness on all social media platforms including KingsChat since the beginning of December.

A well-deserved honor
In other birthday commemorations, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome has received another well-deserved honor, this time in an academic form. The LoveWorld president has been conferred as the University Chancellor and Head of Government/Chairman of the Institution of the prestigious Weldios University, in the Republic of Benin. This took place on the 4th of December.
We wish our Man of God heartfelt congratulations on yet another recognition of his invaluable service to humanity and the body of Christ in this well-deserved honor.
There have been an overwhelming amount of acts of kindness throughout the world to honor, commemorate, and celebrate the Man of God, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, who has been quoted as saying: “Always be gracious enough to help others, and loving enough to care about them. There is nothing more rewarding in life than being able to share with others what one has to give. The enormous satisfaction of giving is a gift of great value that we must cultivate. There are a million possibilities on how a person can give to others in need.
A motivational author once said: “If you can’t do great things, do small things in a great way.”
But in a truly inspirational manner, Pastor Chris has told us: “Love and kindness are never wasted. They always make a difference. They bless the one who receives them, and they bless you the giver.”
Let us spread love, kindness, and generosity to our families, friends, and neighbors. May our actions reflect the selfless love that Jesus demonstrated on the cross, and may we use this time to display God’s Love to each other like never before.
