A visionary, and legendary founder, the Man of God, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, has built a community of Christians that transcends international boundaries.
From the previous week and continuing into the weekend, #IStandWithPastorChris was trending on social media. The hashtag peaked at 15th worldwide on Twitter and accumulated over 30.8K mentions. #IStandWithPastorChris was also listed on trending charts around the world, in Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, South Africa, Canada, and the United Kingdom. #IStandWithPastorChris reached the top five position in Nigeria, home of the beloved Pastor Chris, where it was the second-highest trending topic on Twitter.

Gratitude and appreciation to Pastor Chris
The InnerCity Mission for Children, a faith-based non-governmental organization under the auspices of the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation International (COFI), took urgent action to support the most vulnerable affected by the COVID-19 pandemic amid the global crisis, through emergency food relief intervention and giving copies of the Rhapsody of Realities book, to over 2000 households who have been adversely affected by the recent preventative measures of lock-down to curb the spread of the virus.
It was an inspiring action, and thanks to Pastor Chris, the InnerCity Mission, COFI, and all the volunteers who helped, everyone on social media started using #PastorChrisFoodResponse and #ThankYouPastorChris to honored and celebrated this great cause.
