Looking Back at Christ Embassy’s IPPC 2018

The week-long Christ Embassy organized conference saw thousands upon thousands of highly esteemed dignitaries and countless Loveworld citizens gather in the name of God and his mighty Gospel. The International Partners and Pastors Conference of the 2018 conference is of course, year after year just as memorable as the previous. This is why we are going to take a look back at some of those unforgettable moments that graced us at this last IPPC with Pastor Chris Oyakhilome.

The year of the Spiritual

The year 2018 was indeed the year of the Supernatural. A year that brought Christ Embassy some genuinely unthinkable accomplishments Pastor Chris, who in his address, referred to his delegates as “Partners in God’s extraordinary plan for the world.” This Supernatural year was the year that yielded the most Rhapsody of Realities distributions with the whopping amount of 1.3 billion copies.

“Over the course of 17 years, a little over 1.3 billion copies of the devotional were distributed in every known and inhabited nation under Heaven; this was last year, 2017’s achievement. In this special ‘Year of the Supernatural’, almost all of the 17-year distribution was accomplished, fulfilling the scriptures that all the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of God.”

Pastor Lanre Alabi’s Encouraging Words

As global and national delegates began to arrive for the conference, the Esteemed Pastor Lanre Alabi wished all participants to fully absorb the importance of this year’s conference.

“For all our delegates, IPPC 2018 will not just be an event. It’s going to be connected to your eternity. IPPC 2018 is going to catapult you to new levels of experiencing divinity and being an influential part of the agenda of our Lord Jesus for this generation. Remember that everything we do has to be connected to the agenda of our Lord Jesus Christ. That’s the passion of our Man of God, Pastor Chris. That’s why IPPC 2018 is so vital and so important”

The Gold Partners

The ten most esteemed and highly regarded Christ Embassy partners were awarded for their significant contributions to the church and the millions of Loveworld citizens around the world.  Those top ten, or ‘Gold Partners’ were lauded for their “exceptional sense of commitment and dedication to the vision of Pastor Chris, known to his millions of devotees, as the ‘man of God’. Pastor Deola Phillips won the prestigious Partner of the Year Award. Other winners include; Pastor John Jubril for best campus fellowship and the Teens Church of Christ Embassy Central Church; Abuja Ministry Center for the Partnering Award, just to name a few.

The IMCC

This conference revealed the many technological advances that took place within the Christ Embassy.  This particular part of the conference was created “with the goal of guiding the many delegates in the new and dynamic ways of technology and digital communication.” The conference included lectures and workshops that dealt with “media strategy, digital communication, and social media networking” and has been lauded “over its keen effort to transform Christ Embassy’s online presence, making it increasingly more accessible to everyone online, especially young people.”

The Loveworld Music Ministry Award Ceremony

The cherry that topped off the entire week, the fantastic and spectacular LIMAs. The famous award ceremony that recognizes the various gospel artists that make up the Loveworld Music Ministry (LMAM). The LIMA awards celebrated all the best music, dance, spoken word, and many other art forms, all of it inspired by the vision of the Believers Loveworld president, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome. The ceremony was broadcast on live on Loveworld USA for the very first time. There were many categories, yet only a handful could take home the gold. Among the winners; Jeannine Zoe Wojacek and Frank Edwards for Music Collaboration of the Year; Kelly Lyon for Producer of the Year; Pastor Ester Miracle for Spoken Word Artiste; Supernatural for Music Video of the Year; Rita for Songwriter of the Year; T-Sharp for Theme song of the Year; Eben for Artiste of the Year and CSO for Song of the Year, and in the same category- Testimony for the song ‘Jehovah’.

What to Expect This Year

Chris Embassy brought us such a wonderful IPPC last year, one cannot even imagine what is in store for with this coming year. One thing is certain, the man of God never disappoints. I personally cannot wait to see what happens at the Loveworld Convocation Arena this November.
