It’s That Wonderful Time of the Year: Christmas Eve with Pastor Chris

With the ‘Month of Thanksgiving’ well underway, LoveWorld and Christ Embassy Churches will hold some of the most joyful services of the year. After record-breaking participation during all Global Days of Prayer this year, and under the guidance of our Man of God, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, we anticipate that this most joyous of seasons will be the most meaningful yet.

With Christmas just around the corner, the amazing spirit can already be felt. It is time to gather around with the family as Pastor Chris guides us in a special time with his annual service.

The Christmas Eve Service with the man of God, Chris Oyakhilome is approaching soon. The celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ will be packed with all of the Loveworld stars, caroling, and praising the Lord on the holiest and most festive of days.

“When one lives a Christ-conscious life it gives you incredible joy and abundance. There is no purer love, there are no purer actions than those coming from someone who shares in the divine glory of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Saviour.” – Pastor Chris

The Power of Prayer

“Don’t just be a team that works together, be a team that prays together!” Pastor Chris was quoted as saying, and never before has that been evident than this ‘Year of Perfection’, where billions of people came together to witness the power of prayer in eradicating the challenges that this year presented.

As we enter into this time of year, we focus on what we have received this past year and what we are about to give. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome has taught endlessly about the value of giving and receiving. It has been a year of socio-economic devastation in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic on a global scale. Everybody has been affected in some way or another.

The Gift of Giving

Pastor Chris reminds us of the gift of giving, particularly now. Always be excited about giving. The blessing is for the giver, therefore make up your mind to keep giving, and always out-give your past. A giver is an automatic receiver because the more you give the more you receive. Never become tired of giving, and when you give don’t complain. Instead, be the one the Bible describes in 2 Corinthians 9:7(AMP) a cheerful, joyous, “prompt to do it” giver, whose heart is in his giving. The measure with which you give is the measure with which you’ll receive. Therefore always give lavishly and bountifully, for that’s the secret of receiving and living in the overflow of God’s blessings.

When we consider giving, it is not always in monetary terms, we can look at how the future leaders of the next generation are giving back to their communities to positively impact as many people as they can. This brings us to evaluate the work of the nominees for the Future Africa Leaders Award (FALA) which will take place on New Year’s Eve after the nominees will be announced on the 26th of December at the 8th edition of the annual FALA nomination show.

30 individuals from 15 African countries will be nominated for the highly-coveted global recognition awards, which will produce a Star Award Winner with a token of $25,000 as a show of encouragement and $10,000 each for other nominees from the founder and chief motivator of the Future Africa Leaders ‘Awards, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome. This is a true example of giving and Christian values!
