ITPLC 2020 Encourages Soul-Winning

International Teens Pastor and Leaders Conference (ITPLC) has been actively involved in nurturing a love for Jesus Christ among the young members of LoveWorld nation, where the pastors raise the leaders of tomorrow. With caring devotion, the experienced pastors’ coach the youth to be firm in their Christian beliefs. Not only does this prepare them for leadership roles in the Ministry but in life as well. ITLPC is a celebration of the youth of today and empowering them to be the leaders of tomorrow

The teen’s conference is part of the International Pastors’ and Partners Conference (IPPC) and is used as an opportunity to expand their knowledge and take time to reflect. The event has had several life-transforming activities in the past, especially for young people such as inspiring acts of worship, workshops, talk shows, and music ministry. All sessions focus on the needs of teenagers today and on what is relevant.

There are many parts to becoming a church leader. You must be conversant in the word of God. Knowing the words of the Man of God, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is a very positive step in your ability to deliver the message of the Gospel.

Three Important Facts for Soul-Winners

…he that winneth souls is wise (Proverbs 11:30).

As Christians, we’re all in the ministry of reconciliation; we’re called to win souls. As soul winners, there’re certain requirements necessary for an effective ministry in leading men to Christ.

First is clarity; clarity of the message that you preach. You must understand the message of Christ, first for yourself, because you can’t communicate to someone else something you don’t understand. You can’t bless someone else with something that you haven’t been blessed with. You can only give what you have; and so, a good understanding of the Gospel is imperative.

Secondly, conviction; there has to be absolute conviction in your spirit about Christ and the salvation that He brought for the whole world. You must become fully persuaded of His message, of His person, and of His mission.

Thirdly, possession! As a soul winner, you must have full possession of truth. You may be convinced of something, but it’s not enough. That truth must become yours.

Arm yourself with these truths as you go about your soul-winning work, and you’ll be a more effective minister of reconciliation.

When we do our Christian duty and preach to those who have not heard about the Gospel we have a responsibility to bring their souls to a heightened awareness of their Christian life.

After you have taught and preached the Gospel there are many steps to bringing the reborn souls to a Christian way of living. These steps take time and investment.  Many of the teachings and sermons of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome fill the listener with the Holy Spirit. Pastor Chris encourages us to “take advantage of your privileged position as a child of God in truth. Let the qualities of God’s personality be evident in your character and daily living.”

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome will guide us to glory through his sermons

When a Christian is reborn and mentored they will take on the mantle of soul-winning as they are brought into leadership. Pastor Chris in his sermons inspires us to mentor them and bring them into positions of leadership that they may be blessings to others. A mature Christian soul will take some responsibility for the ministry. Therefore, we need to mentor people to a stage of maturity so they can be a blessing to others.

The work of soul-winning is not done until that individual we have won has grown to a level of maturity where he or she has taken the responsibility of winning others to the Lord. In raising others, we teach them to spread the Good News of the Gospel just as Jesus taught His disciples to do the things that He was doing. Jesus also charged them to teach others. The sermons of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome provide profound wisdom and are a key to enlightening our understanding of the need for soul-winning and maintaining the souls brought to Jesus Christ.

Don’t miss the International Teens Pastor & Leaders Conference on Monday, November 16th to Wednesday, November 18th.
