At the Global Communion Service on February 5th, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome declared February to be the ‘Month of Possession’, saying:
“In February, the Month of Possession, you will combat her inheritance to your possession by the power of the Holy Ghost.”
He continued to say: “It was already yours, but now we enter it. Now we take possession of it by the power of the Holy Ghost. The power of the Holy Ghost shall slay every giant. Every resistance shall be destroyed. The power of the Holy Ghost will break every barrier. This is the Month of Possession. Give God praise.”
The ‘Year of the Prolific Church’
This is a significant message as we enter the second month of the ‘Year of the Prolific Church’. As we know the word ‘prolific’ means plentiful, abundant, and bountiful, all words directed to the greater life we will lead this year in the eyes of God.
The Man of God delivered this message to the community when he announced the name of the year: “The church shall spread throughout the Earth unhindered. The church of Christ shall spread throughout the Earth. This prolificacy of the church in these days shall be as never before experienced because the church shall prolificate to the ends of the Earth. Unhindered.”
“This year, 2023, it shall be for you, even as has been spoken, concerning the prolific church. You will be prolific. Everything about you will grow exceedingly. At the power of the Holy Ghost. And anyone that comes in contact with you will know that this is one that the Lord has blessed,” he preached and continued:
“The signs of His glory will be manifested in your life. His grace shall guide you. The power of the Holy Spirit shall be manifested in your life. And the Holy Spirit will lead you in His righteousness and cause you to inherit substance.”
“2023 will be, for many, a final call because it is a year of decisions for the world…This should stir in us the necessity to take the message to all the world.” Pastor Chris told us at the beginning of the year.

In the Affirmation Train, we read Pastor Chris Oyakhilome saying: “I affirm that life is not a mystery unto me! My understanding and perception of life are been reshaped by the Word. All things are mine because I’m the seed of Abraham, an heir of God, and a joint heir with Christ. I walk, conscious of my prosperity, health, and victory, for in Christ, I’ve obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His own will. And by Him, I reign, and rule in life! Daily, my spirit is open to the leading and guidance of the Spirit.”
Pastor Chris exemplifies the meaning of prolific by saying: “I record great and notable achievements, enjoying my days in success, progress, peace, joy, and unending prosperity. The glory of the Word is revealed and made manifest in my life, as it transforms me, causing God’s grace and peace to be multiplied in my life, bringing me favors and blessings.”
