Never pursue money
Rev. Chris Oyakhilome spoke many words of wisdom at the Southern Africa Leaders and Partners’ Conference. He used scripture from Rhapsody of Realities to explain how money is far from the essence of life, and that faith is what really makes us rich.
Flee the pursuit of money. Work, do all the nice things you need to do. Get more money for your efforts but not in pursuit of it. There’s a difference.
If you’re the son of a very rich man and you work. You’re given responsibilities, you’re given a job. You love to do it, you put in effort to do very well. But you never pursue money, because you’ve got so much.
That’s the attitude you ought to have. Because you are the son or the daughter of a rich God. Do whatever you must do, do it right, do it well. Put in good effort. But don’t pursue money.
Let the guy who’s still dreaming to be rich do that. You are already rich because you were born so. The seed of Abraham, Amen!
Predestined for glory and excellence
God is eternal. He has no future, past, or present. He sees our future and destiny as history, He already knows what will happen to us. He has the ability to help fix any mistake we make. This help can only come into existence if we keep His Word.
“Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God” (Psalm 90:2).
Have faith in Him and He will never forsake you.
Halleluiah!
