The countdown has begun for the first-ever “Emerging Young African Leaders’ Summit” (EYALS) and all are expectant for greatness to come from such an event. The Summit is hosted by the incredible organization, Future African Leaders Foundation and made possible by the man of God, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome. With so many talented young innovators coming together for one weekend of strengthening and empowering, there is no stopping what is to come. From September 19-21, 2019 the Emerging Young African Leaders’ Summit will take place at the Digital Bridge Institute in Lagos, Nigeria.
What To Expect
With several Future African Leaders’ Award (FALA) winners and notable ambassadors in attendance at this event, you can expect to grow in so many ways both professionally and communally. The theme of this year’s EYAL Summit is ‘Fostering Innovative Growth in Africa’. Learning from the very best innovators and visionaries about the future development of Africa creates an energizing atmosphere, to say the least.
Keynote speakers for this event include Miss Grace Iheji, founder of Opportunity Desk and iKapture Networks, Dr. Joseph Ryarasa Nkurunziza, founder of Never Again Kigali Rwanda, Gafar Odubote, Head of Strategy at Covantage BPO Ltd., Hon. Remy Chukwunyere, founder and director of African Youth Development Foundation and lastly Mr. Kingsley Bangwell, CEO of Youngstars Foundation.
Theophile Lassey (35) from Togo was a FALA winner of 2017. He shared his expectations for this years Emerging Young African Leaders’ Summit:
“My expectation is to be able to get more knowledge, to learn more from other ambassadors all around Africa and to know the challenges that we are facing on a daily basis, and with this information to be able to solve more problems in my community. I am very expectant towards it and I’m expecting that when I get there I can get more knowledge, I can get more information, I can be inspired about what others are doing in their communities and to take the same action and to bring more impact, and to make more impact in my community and to solve more problems.”
