We have just concluded the tenth edition of the Global Day of Prayer with Pastor Chris Oyakhilome. Joined by numerous senior ministers from the Ministry as well as God’s General, Pastor Benny Hinn, Pastor Chris imparted many words of wisdom regarding the importance of prayer.
“There is too much suffering going on in our world because of ignorance that’s why He sent us to preach the Gospel,” he told the global audience as we remember the initial reason that this program was birthed.
Over 2 years ago in March 2020, as a response to the fear and worry that the world experienced due to the global socio-economic pandemic caused by COVID-19, Pastor Chris taught us the power of prayer. Our praying is not a religious ritual or obligation. It’s more than that, it’s based on a relationship, it’s a living relationship with a living God, who called us to prayer, with the intent of answering.
“We are not on our own, Jesus said he will not leave us comfortless. So we are not helpless by any standard. No evil can have power over us, nothing in this world,” Pastor Chris said as he reminded us that: “This is the purpose of the Global Day of Prayer: To draw upon the high powers of the Almighty.”
The June 2022 Global Day of Prayer with Pastor Chris Grand Finale climaxed with a special session of praise and worship to God for the answers to the prayers of the saints. Pastor Chris reminded us that “Praise and worship is the highest form of prayer.”
Nuggets of Wisdom from Pastor Chris Continue to Encourage us
We were privileged to be exposed to wisdom from our Man of God this weekend as we listened to his words.
“Where the king is, that’s where the kingdom is. He is in us today and in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, the nations belong to Jesus Christ. Satan has no right. We do not allow Satan to control the nations anymore. He controlled them for a long time but we have said “No!” He doesn’t continue. He cannot control any country, any nation. We are not giving him not even one nation.”
“Pray and enforce the victory of Christ in your city by announcing in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ that your city belongs to Jesus Christ, belongs to God. Jesus paid for the whole field; the field is the world. He bought everything and it all belongs to Him. He wants to pick leaders for nations, but why would He pick leaders for nations except we exercise authority in such nations, in the realm of the spirit.”
“We have authority in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. The bible tells us all the nations belong to Him; they are in this earth and so together with the Lord Jesus Christ we determine how the world should be run. And if you don’t understand that, you will be a victim in life. You will wonder why things are not going the way you want them. You will suffer and be wondering why. But once you understand this. 1. Poverty is over 2. Sickness is finished. Failure is gone. Suddenly you will realize you are a prince with God. And that is important in life.”
What a blessing to have been part of the global audience receiving these words from our Man of God, Pastor Chris.
“The Greater One lives in us. We cannot be defeated!” says Pastor Chris
“My prayer is that the Lord will give this generation an analytical and perceptive mind to combat deceivers. And the Lord will grant it,” said the Man of God.
“I believe that the Spirit of God has been poured out ever since and has not returned to heaven. And so in our day, many can be under the influence of the Spirit of God, and you know what God can do through the Holy Ghost.
“Christ asked us to fear nothing! No matter how wicked the perpetrators are, there are higher powers.” He went on to say: “Jesus owns the whole world! The devil and his cohorts are just occupants and have no legal power!”
