Christmas Eve Service with Pastor Chris
Get ready for moments of worship and praise with our Man of God, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, and all-stars of the LoveWorld Nation in celebration of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Last year Pastor Chris reminded his global congregation that when one lives a Christ-conscious life, it gives you incredible joy and abundance. There is no purer love, there are no purer actions than those coming from someone who shares in the divine glory of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Saviour.
He explained that the “revelation of Christianity is Christ in you, not in heaven. Don’t start fasting and asking Him to pour something out from heaven; don’t ask Him to give you a blessing from heaven. He’s blessed you already with Himself; with all the blessings that are in Christ.”
He went even further to remind us that, “Christ in you is your assurance of divine health, prosperity, success, victory, and dominion. Hallelujah! What you need is to discover Christ in you. If Christ isn’t in a man, then his sufferings are justified; his pains are “excusable.” But not so with you; you’ve been brought into the “glory life.”
Two years ago, our Man of God, Pastor Chris perfectly described the meaning behind the birth of Christ with an explanation for every letter if the word ‘Christmas’
“C” means “Christ has come!” Christ is born and is here now!
“H” stands for “Hope.” We’re at rest now, because Christ has come, and our hope for a glorious life has been fulfilled.
“R” means “Righteousness!” There’s no need to struggle to please God with our own works of righteousness because He has made us the epitome of His own righteousness (2 Corinthians 5:21).
“I” means “Inheritance!” An inheritance has been bestowed on us; we’re no longer poor. Rather, we’re joint-heirs with Christ (Romans 8:17).
“S” means “Salvation.” Salvation has been consummated since Christ has come.
“T” means “Tell the untold that Christ has come.” Tell someone about Jesus today!
“M” means “Ministry,” which refers to taking our place as ministers of reconciliation. And what is the message of that ministry?
“A” stands for “Acceptance!” We’re to tell the whole world that they’ve been forgiven and accepted by the Father, irrespective of their past. God is not counting their sins against them (2 Corinthians 5:19). The final.
“S” refers to sonship. Now that we are accepted in Him, He has brought us into “sonship!” (1 John 3:2).
New Years’ Eve Service with Pastor Chris
There are many uplifting ways to celebrate the New Year. It’s a time of celebration and spiritual renewal, where families come together to feel closer to the Lord. But New Years’ is not only about gift-giving and good food, but the spiritual essence of the day is also of far more importance than any other aspect. If you have a prayer to pray, pray it now. If you have a soul to win, win it now!
The New Year is when we stop for a moment and reflect on the past and look forward to the future. It’s a time to pause the normal routine of our lives and connect to the values of Christ that Pastor Chris Oyakhilome instills in us when preaching. Through reflection, we will see that it really has been a ‘Year of Perfection‘ at Christ Embassy, despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.
