It’s always the right time to give back to the community and bless others with the unbounded love of Christ. Now, for ONE week, LoveWorld citizens all around the world will focus their hearts on the sick and the hurting during the annual Global Hospital Outreach Week. The outreach will begin today, on August 25th, 2019 and continue until Saturday, August 31st, 2019.
The purpose of this outreach is to bring the light of Jesus into the hospitals and to share the love of Christ with all. For many patients in hospitals around the world, hopelessness, and despair often overcome their ability to even believe in themselves to get better, much less believe that God is watching over them through such difficult times. The truth we know as believers is that only by God’s strength can we really be made strong and HE is the ultimate doctor and healer.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began sharing and preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ at a young age. The world he was witnessing had a great need to know and trust in a Saviour and he considered it his duty, as a disciple of Christ, to share the greatest truth the world needed to hear. He went to the streets and the hospitals, praying for the sick and caring for the lost, just as the Word of God instructs us to.
Matthew 25:36 “I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.”
By hosting this global week-long outreach, LoveWorld citizens around the world plan to make an impact in the hearts of the sick and bring new strength to their spirits. As the knowledge of Christ enters their understanding, the burdens carried by the patients are lifted and light begins to break through, interrupting their current situation of despair and weakness.
LoveWorld invites all to take part in this hopeful outreach week, ministering to the sick and sharing the love and power of Jesus Christ with everyone. This outreach is brought about by the Volunteer Medical Corps, whose main mission is to serve and care for the sick and hurting.
