It was an unforgettable Christmas experience as millions of participants joined Pastor Chris Oyakhilome from all around the world. As the ‘Month of Thanksgiving’ comes to an end for the ‘Year of Preparation’, we get ready to join our Man of God for the upcoming New Years’ Eve Service, where the name for the new year will be revealed.
Christmas Eve, that special time of the year with Pastor Chris
The 2021 Christmas Eve Service with the man of God, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was hosted from the LoveWorld Grounds and broadcast live to an excited global audience via all LoveWorld Networks and various internet platforms. The unique service offered participants the opportunity to experience Christmas in a new light.
The LoveWorld singers displayed the true meaning of Christmas through a special songs rendition, speeches, and presentations. The love of the master for mankind and the reasons to celebrate His birth were made apparent. With great joy, the global congregation celebrated the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ with renewed knowledge of being the reason for the season and that there is no Christmas without Jesus. It was indeed an unforgettable Christmas experience.
Friday the 24th of December’s Rhapsody of Realities was called ‘Compliments of the Season’ and it reminded us all of our calls to spread the goodness of salvation. Let’s tell everyone who Jesus is, and what He came to do, and that’s why we celebrate Christmas.
In the Bible, in Isaiah 9:6-7 it says, ‘For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.’
Special Christmas wishes from Pastor Chris together with the LoveWorld Singers at the Christmas Eve Service where Pastor Chris wished the world a merry Christmas reflected on the past year of blessings and hope, comfort and gratitude.
Showing support for the work of Pastor Chris
In his special prayer for Christmas for all those around the world, Pastor Chris also mentioned that there are those less fortunate who are not able to celebrate the joys of Christmas, we are to spread the joy around and remember the gift of giving.
At this time of year, we remember the poor:” Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble.” (Psalms 41:1) There are many fundraising partners who have collaborated with the InnerCity Mission together with Chris Oyakhilome and the Chris Oyakhilome foundation international (COFI). Many business organizations sponsored programs taking their business to the next level.
As we celebrate the blessings of the birth of our Lord Jesus brought, we celebrate you for making Jesus real to the indigent in the inner-cities. Thank you for being God’s outstretched arm and coloring dreams around the world. May your heart continually be filled with great joy and your mouth with testimonies!
Pastor Chris reminds us of the gift of giving, particularly now. Always be excited about giving. The blessing is for the giver, therefore make up your mind to keep giving, and always out-give your past. A giver is an automatic receiver because the more you give the more you receive. Never become tired of giving, and when you give don’t complain. Instead, be the one the Bible describes in 2 Corinthians 9:7 a cheerful, joyous, “prompt to do it” giver, whose heart is in his giving. The measure with which you give is the measure with which you’ll receive. Therefore always give lavishly and bountifully, for that’s the secret of receiving and living in the overflow of God’s blessings.
