“The year 2020 is a special year, not because it is twenty-twenty, and not because we are starting a new decade, but because of God’s plan for us. God lives in eternity. And we live here in time; time is just a segment of eternity, but God sees and knows everything and through His Spirit, He reveals to us His plans. He never leaves us in darkness like many people think. He has not forgotten the world, but always he calls out to us to listen to Him,” Reverend (Dr.) Chris Oyakhilome reminded us.
Today begins a 10-day refresher study on perfection, a timely reminder of the importance of 2020 the ‘Year of Perfection’. This enlightening course will run until Friday the 31st of July. It has been designed to re-align us with the prophetic message granted us by the Spirit through our man of God, Pastor Chris as we enter the second half of this year.
Congratulations on a glorious first half of the Year of Perfection! 2020 has come with unique challenges, but thank God for the word of the Spirit to us at the beginning of the year, making it for us a time of alignment, completeness, excellence and fruition in spite of the condition of the world.
This 10-day Refresher study on the Year of Perfection will help put you in remembrance of all the Lord said to us at the beginning of the year, as we function into greater levels of perfection in the second half of the year.
Day 1: Perfection is Possible
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome said in his New Year message – “God never said perfection is impossible. Perfection is what God desires and demands.”
“And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.” In this verse from Genesis 17:1, perfect means complete, whole, unimpaired, innocent, having integrity. Pastor Chris opened our eyes to the possibility of perfection by showing us how perfection is measured at different levels and how we demand perfection from devices or systems.
How to Participate
By taking out 15-30 minutes daily using this study guide, you will:
- Refresh your spirit with excerpts from the New Year message that will be made available on Pastor Chris Digital Library (PCDL) TV every day.
- Renew your mind with theme scriptures, key words, points and thoughts on the day’s excerpts.
- Reaffirm your perfection and the blessings of Christ in you.
- Reflect and review your year by writing down inspirations and new goals from the Spirit of God from the day’s message.
- Watch or listen to a recommended PCDL message to study further and refresh your spirit on perfection.
Multiply the productivity of your study daily as you execute a Perfection Study Outreach; and distribute free copies of the message 2020 ‘The Year of Perfection’ daily in the ‘EACH 1 REACH & PERFECT 10 CHALLENGE’.
