Two days before Christmas in 2020, Alfred Hor Pak Ho from the United Kingdom was getting out of the bath when he slipped and struck his shin against the side of the tub.
A seemingly small slip was escalating into a nightmare of pain and worry, so Alfred went to the hospital. He was admitted for surgery to remove the infected tissue and was discharged a week later.
