When our man of God, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome announced at the November Global Communion Service that the month was dedicated to ‘Watching and Praying’, he explained that God’s wisdom was at work in His children when he said: “Be alert spiritually for your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion walks about seeking whom he may devour.” He explained that no one will fall prey to the Devil as we watch and pray.
When he instructed the worldwide audience to plan their schedules for prayer and to take a stand against all the wiles of Satan this month, he put his words in action when he revealed the happenings of this month.
Discover Your Purpose
We have just concluded a full week of events with delegates arriving from all around the world to attend the prestigious International Pastors and Partners Conference (IPPC) 2021.
Each session was a discovery of life-changing revelations, as Pastor Chris Chris and other senior ministers in the ministry administered the undiluted Word of God to God’s people who traveled to Nigeria.
Recounting what the Lord told him several years ago, Pastor Chris emphasized that the most important thing for men to do is to discover their purpose and fulfill it. He explained that many fulfill what their country, friends, or parents expect of them but not what God planned for them. On a more serious note, Pastor Chris complained about the emptiness of those who never knew why they ever came to this world. “Your role is to discover your purpose and fulfill it,” he preached to the delegates who came to witness his teachings.
Open Your Hearts
Pastor Chris spoke solemnly to the participants and encouraged them to use songs as instruments of communication to express their emotions to the Lord without hesitation. “Open your hearts to Him in true worship; we’re worshipping the King of Glory,” he remarked.
The partners welcomed the man of God, who praised and thanked all the international and local delegates for attending the conference. Full of the Spirit, Pastor Chris exhorted on the essence of God’s Word, propounding it as God’s opinions, ideas, thoughts, principles, and above all His truth. “Take His word as truth; that means what God says is exactly what it is,” Pastor Chris remarked as he explained that God’s word is His understanding of any situation and every child of God ought to think, see, talk and act likewise.
IPPC, IMCC, ITPLC, LIMA
Happening concurrently with the conference were other sub-conferences including the International Media Connectors’ Conference (IMCC), International Teens Pastors and Leaders’ Conference (ITPLC), and others. The always inspiring LoveWorld Exhibitions, which displays the global impact of various arms of the ministry and affiliate organizations, has been admired and revered during the IPPC each year, and this year, the experience was no different.
The thrills and excitement of the prestigious LoveWorld Presidential Awards and LoveWorld International Music and Arts Awards (LIMA) which was always met with such joy, brought the annual congress to a climactic close.
LIMA 2021 was a glorious array of ministrations, where our Man of God, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome honored the awardees for their outstanding spread of the Gospel through music and arts. All the participants were recognized and lauded for their contributions during the ‘Year of Preparation’.
