Yesterday our Man of God, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome declared May to be the ‘Month of Illumination’ at the Global Communion Service. ”As you study the Word, meditate on the Word, worship God and pray, your heart will be illuminated by God’s Word,” he told his global audience.
Global Communion Service
“God’s plan is to have your spirit illumined in such a way that light dawns on your spirit,” Pastor Chris Oyakhilome told his congregation at the May Global Communion Service, to great applause, joy, and celebration.
“Get ready for extraordinary illumination,” were his words as he prepped the global audience for an enlightening month of deep insights and revelations from God’s word.
Reading from Psalm 19:1-11, the man of God posited that God’s Word conveys illumination, warnings, and instructions altogether. Pastor Chris emphasized that the hearts of the saints would be utterly illuminated as they constantly meditate, pray and study God’s Word throughout the month. Highlighting the uniqueness of the month of May as coming from the month of April which was the month of truth, he remarked that the penetration of God’s truth would inspire profound luminance in the spirits of the global audience.
“You know, I was thinking about something when the spirit of God was ministering to me about this month being the Month of Illumination”, Pastor Chris postulated… “I was thinking… We just came from the ‘Month of Truth’. Now it is illumination. Think about it. People can have truth and not use it, but when it penetrates, it illuminates.”
He elaborated by saying: “It is possible to hold the truth without the right heart, and when you do that it produces no results. The truth is light and if you’re open to it, it will penetrate and bring you illumination. This month is the ‘Month of Illumination’, that means that the Spirit of God is going to do something with your life. Something is going to happen with you. Hallelujah!”
“Pray to God that your heart be flooded with light, the eyes of your heart be flooded with lights, that is, be illuminated. Amen!”
3-Day Global Prayer and Fasting with Pastor Chris
The May Global Communion Service coincided with the 3-day Global Prayer and Fasting Program with Pastor Chris. The global congregation continued to pray fervently as the Man of God opened up with worship and prayers to God.
The global service was hosted from the LoveWorld Studios at the LoveWorld Crusade Grounds, Nigeria, and was beamed live to a mammoth global audience via the LoveWorld Networks and various internet platforms.
LoveWorld Director of Programs, the esteemed Pastor Ifeoma Chiemeka, welcomed participants to the special service recounting the impact of God’s Word for April, which was the ‘Month of Truth‘ as declared by the man of God Pastor Chris during April’s Global Communion Service, Phase 3 of Season 3 of ‘Your LoveWorld Specials with Pastor Chris’, and other impactful programs that were held during April. Pastor Ifeoma also encouraged the global congregation to participate actively in every session of the service and be rightly positioned to receive God’s Word to them for the month of May to be declared by the man of God, Pastor Chris. A special rendition by the LoveWorld singers prepared the hearts of the global participants to receive God’s Word as Pastor Chris began to minister.

This month of illumination also offers the Global Ministers Classroom (GMC) with Pastor Chris, an event that will be happening later this month on Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd of May through the International School of Ministry (ISM). The Global Ministers Classroom has been specially designed by God’s Spirit, to teach, train, and equip ministers of the Gospel on the Mission and Purpose of the Church, to the end that they will become better equipped for the end-time move of the Spirit for the Church, as we prepare for the soon return of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Pastor Chris reminds us that soul-winners are precious and influential people in the sight of God. As a child of God, nothing should mean more to you than leading those in your world who have not yet known the Lord into salvation.
He continued to teach is that “you will experience even more success and progress this year as you engage in soul-winning and soul-winning activities. People are God’s greatest assets on earth. Until you start winning people for Jesus, you’re not involved in God’s asset building. The Lord is always reaching out to the unsaved, to touch their lives with His power and glory; but He can only do so through you. Therefore, you must always be passionate about soul-winning.”
An important ongoing message from our Man of God is that: “You’re a missionary here on earth, an ambassador for Christ, commissioned to take the message of salvation to everyone in your world; therefore, this year, more than you’ve ever done, get yourself occupied with evangelism and soul-winning. Help someone else receive salvation; help those around you learn the Word; show them the path of life! Teach them how to live. This is your calling as a Christian. God’s highest blessings are for soul winners; never forget that. As you win souls, you’re promoted in the spirit, and the Spirit of God increases His grace and glory upon your life to do more.”
