The Man of God, Reverend (Dr.) Chris Oyakhilome, declared May to be ‘the Month of Opening‘ at the May Global Communion Service which was held on Sunday, May 3rd. The global congregation who connected to the service via all LoveWorld TV Networks, radio stations and various internet platforms, received the word with great rejoicing. Pastor Chris, proposed that God is doing something very special in the lives of individuals, families, institutions, cities and nations around the world. He encouraged God’s people to expect openings in various aspects of their lives, further stating that not only will there be an experience of it but there will be a projection of it. He urged the saints to express profound thanks to God for His Word and what He is determined to do in their lives throughout the month of May and beyond.
Importance of Congregation
Pastor Chris emphasizes the importance of the congregations of God.
As the 3-day Global Prayer and Fasting program with Pastor Chris drew to a close on Wednesday, May 13th, Pastor Chris emphasized the importance of the congregations of God. The final session of the program, which was hosted from the LoveWorld studios in Lagos, Nigeria, was streamed live to millions of viewers in different parts of the world. In an insightful exhortation, Pastor Chris explained that congregations of the Lord are so important to Him. Reading from Psalms 22:25, he emphasized that the Lord rejoices over the gathering of the saints to worship Him in one accord.
Following the enormous popularity of Your LoveWorld prayer weeks, which started on the 27th of March, after Pastor Chris hosted the Global Prayer Day against the Coronavirus, the praying and fasting have successfully been extended every week.
