Month of February is the Month of Songs

Pastor Chris led us in praise of how great God is and deserving of our worship. The choir was magnificent with the words, “in your presence I am content,” Just to live in your presence, to honor and worship you, our hearts are open to hearing you In Jesus’s name, Amen.” Pastor Chris proclaimed that “we have stepped into the new month with Psalms and hymns and spiritual songs rejoicing. Glory!” The special service was hosted by Christ Embassy Houston, Texas, USA, and broadcast live to the global audience

A special month

Pastor Chris introduced the new month by inspiring us by recounting the multitude of miracles that have occurred since the New Years’ Eve Service. On the couch were esteemed Reverend Tom Amenkhienan, Director of Christ Embassy Abuja Ministry Center; Reverend Ken Oyakhilome, Regional Pastor of Canada and South America Regions; and, Pastor Mike Wiggle, Zonal Pastor of Christ Embassy Texas Zones 1 and 2.

Inspiring words at the Global Communion

Pastor Chris prayed for global healing and further inspired us with inspiring testimonies from the Healing School. There are ever-increasing reports of the miracles of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome.

The blessing and miracles are occurring daily and round the clock because of the ‘The Pray-A-Thon.’ Pastor Chris described it as “is unending prayers with unending answers, unending prayers mean unending results!. ” Without you praying, there is no expression of your faith.”

Those ministers who have taken part described it as awesome and phenomenal. Not only has the devil been paralyzed but we have a platform for perfection. Ability has been granted to you. Canceling evil plans as we pray when men are sleeping. Pastor Chris says our words are like incense that rise to heaven.

Teaching us to walk in Perfection

By strengthening our insight of perfection Pastor Chris brought the global audience to a new level. In perpetuating the myth that I am not perfect is against God’s teaching, yet God would not ask something not attainable. He explained that there are many people in the bible who are described as perfect, its God’s testimony.

“Perfection is not measured by men’s standards. Who sets the standards? Not men but God!”

This revelation brought forth much understanding as we know that, “God’s love is a man. God is love. Jesus was God’s love manifested to us. It means Jesus is Love.  You are the expression of His person. Jesus was the expression of the Father’s person. You are the expression of the Father’s person today.”

“Consistency in walking with God is the most natural thing for a Christian who has the Holy Spirit.”

Choir singing for the Month of Songs

Pastor Chris gave us the scriptures that heralded the new word of the month. Ephesians 5:19  “Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord,” Colossians 3:16, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

Isaiah 35:10

There will be songs encompassing all emotions, “And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.” All songs leading to the praise and worship of Jesus Christ.

Reflect and meditate on Psalm 67:1-7

February is the ‘Month of Song.’ This news was greeted with rapturous applause from all four corners of the globe. This month calls for songs of praise to come from the hearts of all Christians. There will be glorious melodies and songs of worship taking us to new levels expressed through song.
