The Global congregation’s praise to God was exceptional during the final Communion Service with Pastor Chris in Year of Lights. The expression of thanksgiving to God for His many blessings was glorious.
The esteemed Director of Programs of LoveWorld Inc., Pastor Ifeoma Chiemeka, invited everyone to the special service with the Man of God Pastor Chris. This is the first service of the new ministry year as that was concluded by the IPPC. The service continued with the singing of the LoveWorld Anthem lead by LIMA winner Pastor Ruthney.
Uplifting prayers converge on LoveWorld
The global congregation’s prayers were led by esteemed Pastor Chike Ume, Chief Operating Officer, and LoveWorld Campus Ministry Director. Beautiful renditions of songs of worship by the choir in celebration of God’s unquantifiable love and graciousness orchestrated a unique ambiance, filling up the studio and several auditoria around the world.
As the man of God, Reverend Dr. Chris Oyakhilome, entered the arena for the December 2019 Global Communion Service there was rapturous applause as everyone rose in union. The proclaiming of the Word of the month is the apex of this uplifting service. There are many holy words that are in our hearts and on our minds. Pastor Chris welcomed the global congregation to the blissful and uplifting service. In asking the global congregation to express their heartfelt thanksgiving to God power and glory were felt.
Messages we need to hear
In a succinct sermon, Pastor Chris highlighted the need for the global audience to appreciate that, even though God lives in eternity, He relates with us in this world. He reaffirmed that as the ministry year closes and a new one begins, God’s people must synthesize the pertinent aspect, “though God is not time-bound, His plans for men are on a timeline, therefore we must make the most of the time we have on earth.”
This message is timely as we are bringing the ‘Year of Lights” to a close and we anticipate a new year where we can increase our impact.
There were video highlights of testimonies from the Healing School. There were also excerpts from the recent International Pastors and Partners Conference (IPPC), LoveWorld Awards and the LoveWorld International Music and Arts Awards 2019. Reliving these soul-stirring moments filled the Global audience in anticipation of the theme of December.
How do you bless something?
Recalling the previous month’s blessings Pastor Chris asked how do you bless God or something you want to bless. He reminded us that it is with the other aspect of blessings-thanksgiving. The audience was so happy to learn that blessing will continue as December is the “Month of Blessings in Thanksgiving.”
Quoting 1 Corinthians: 14:15-16 Pastor Chris brought the new month into being, – ” What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also. Else when thou shalt bless with the spirit, how shall he that occupieth the room of the unlearned say Amen at thy giving of thanks, seeing he understandeth not what thou sayest.”
Pastor Chris lead that blessing saying, “Bless God by giving Him thanks for who He is, for His mighty works and all He has done for you.”
