The Christ Embassy has done something that will be truly impactful to celebrate Nigeria’s independence day this year.
59 Years And Still Going Strong
As Nigeria celebrated 59 years as an independent nation, on October 1st, 2019 the ReachOut Nigeria (RON) campaign, enhanced the celebration, by distributing copies of Rhapsody of Realities throughout the country. What has made this year’s campaign so special is that the devotional can be read by many more of its citizens.
The Words Of Christ In 300 Different Languages
In this year which has been dubbed “Light Of Hope,” more Nigerians than ever can find wisdom in the daily devotional, Rhapsody of Realities, written by the man of God, Reverend Dr.Chris Oyakhilome. It has been translated into 300 indigenous Nigerian languages to meet the needs of a country with such a diverse linguistic population.
With more people having access to the words of God this can only strengthen the nation. Pastor Chris expounded on the importance of words in the Rhapsody of Realities:–
“It makes no difference what your struggles in life have been; you can recreate your world, by your words. Jesus said you shall have what you say (Mark 11:23). That’s where your life and the power to shape it aright is—words! Speak the right words (God’s Word) about your life and situation.”
This timely message can empower people. And if more people hear the Gospel and understand the truth that it speaks then the ReachOut Nigeria Campaign will continue having a positive impact on its people. The confession at the end of the devotion is that:-
“The Word of God is in my heart and in my mouth, even the word of truth which I’ve received. My words are potent, bringing forth victories, increase, promotion and abundance for me. My life is the testimony of God’s grace, glory, and excellence. Praise God!”
Celebrate The Word And Spread The Gospel
The Rhapsody of Realities, which has been distributed for free, deserves to be celebrated. The beautiful carnival floats organized by members of the Christ Embassy were adorned in the green and white of Nigeria’s national colors. LoveWorld citizens have been active in distributing Pastor Chris’s words across the 36 states of the federation. It is hoped that the Rhapsody of Realities will find its way to every home in Nigeria.
During this celebration, the many words of God are meditated upon. The concept from Proverbs 29:2 is important:-
“When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.”
There is a hope that all who do not share in the Gospel of Christ should be removed from office. So that
“decency and justice become the hallmarks of our national governance.”
Since becoming a sovereign nation on October 1st, 1960, Nigeria has remained a united nation despite the multiple challenges it has had to face over the years. The nation remains strong as one entity and has so many reasons to celebrate her independence. The language of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has promoted unity and strength amongst its people. Now that the teachings of the man of God are being spread throughout the land the country can only go from strength to strength.
