We are blessed to have so many teachers in our lives and the 5th of October is World Teachers Day. As Christians, we are immersed in the teachings of Jesus Christ. We can understand that our Lord and Savior has an abundance of messages to teach us. Reverend Dr. Chris Oyakhilome DSc DD is a much loved and inspiring teacher who can guide us through those messages and illuminate them for us.
Celebrate The Teacher
The bible has always placed value on education, to communicate the message is to give us all hope. As it is said in Romans 15:4:-
“For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, so that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope”
There are many ways we can learn today. We have schools and universities to give us knowledge. Where does that knowledge come from? John reminds us that our teacher is humble and knows where the purest education comes from in Chapter 7 Verse 16:-
“So Jesus answered them and said, “My teaching is not Mine, but His who sent Me.”
Many of us are looking for a fresh take on the ultimate message. Those of us who have been fortunate to learn from Pastor Chris have been blessed with an opportunity to show our appreciation for our teacher, the Man of God. Study The Light
“When you have read your Bible, pick out certain verses and recite them by heart. This is the beginning of meditation, and the more you do this, the more the Word will get into your spirit.”
That Spirit is good. The more of the Spirit that is in the world the lighter it gets.
