Youth Gather for an Enriching Experience at the CE Calabar’s Teen Summer Camp

It’s the one time of the year where kids and teens everywhere are busy with activities, camps and fun, making the most of their summer vacation before crossing over into the next class. Christ Embassy Calabar Ministry Center, South-South Nigeria has been busy running various summer camps earlier in the month of August for both children (kiddies) and youth (teens).

The camp took place from Wednesday, August 7th to Saturday, August 10th – four days of activities that help the youth of today become the leaders of tomorrow. Activities and lessons are designed to bring these young people closer to God through experiencing Him with others. The camp activities range from spiritual teachings and small group discussion to skill acquisition training and more. With plenty of opportunity for games and fun, the teens are excited to grow deeper in fellowship with God, together.

Passionate teaching from esteemed Christ Embassy ministers, Pastor Ehis Idemudia and Pastor Emmanuel Adukah, encouraged the youth to know God’s Word thoroughly, allowing it to compliment your life and all of your success. In addition to the wise teaching from these ministers, the youth all participated in a special movie night and talent show, featuring the incredible skills and gifts of each son and daughter of God.

“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ Colossians 3:23-24

Teaching youth about the true meaning of future success and a life that is worth living to the fullest for Christ is what helps shape them into the spiritual mothers and fathers they are destined to be one day. It is a time in a youth’s life to encourage and build up as their identity in Christ begins to take place and real spiritual maturity takes root. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome makes incredible efforts to pour into young people and invest in a stronger future for everyone.

Also offered during the Calabar’s Teen Summer Camp were special Foundation School classes. The Foundation School teaches the importance of having a solid ground, or foundation, to stand on when facing the real world. The very thing we all need in order to reach success is a foundation that supports it. The teens of Christ Embassy Calabar Ministry Center are focused on success in Christ Jesus and being witnesses of Him. Through this, all things work together, and all things are made possible.
