This February Saw a Transformative Global Communion Service

The Monthly Declaration

The Global Communion Service reached its peak in spiritual ecstasy over the announcement of this month’s theme. The essence of the next 30 days, crucial for all Loveworld citizens really sets the tone. It is a time to mark the calendar days with intention, goals and special ideas that pertain to the theme declared by Pastor Chris. According to the Christ Embassy President, February 2019 is to be the month of ‘Walking in the Light’.

Walk in the Light

Pastor Chris read theme scriptures from 1 John 1:7 and Isaiah 2:5, the former saying, “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” With other scriptures including Isaiah 60:1, 19-22 and Psalm 119:105, 130-133, the man of God instructed the global congregation to give attention to the Word this month.
“The light in which you walk must be consistent with the Word,” Pastor Chris said to brethren participating from around the world.

The Guestlist

While the central ingredient to this celestial mix successfully led yet another inspiring and soulful Global Communion, it was of course attended by swarms of other Christ Embassy’s most esteemed dignitaries. Pastor Ifeoma Chiemeka, director of corporate affairs of Christ Embassy was one of the many special partners present. In her speech, she chronicled the endless exploits of the church. As the second runner-up of the recent Department of the Year Award, Chiemeka has had a big hand in the church’s accomplishments.

Powerful Worship

Following Cheiemeka’s poignant speech, the man of God, Reverend (Dr.) Chris Oyakhilome took to stage to address the souls around the world. In his speech, he commented on the moving testimony that was screened before the multitudes of Loveworld citizens. Pastor Chris went on to lead the roaring crowds in heartfelt worship to the Lord with hymns and spiritual songs.

Musical Ministrations

LMAM artiste Obi Shine also graced the stage with his tuneful ministrations. His music certainly was an integral part of beckoning the Holy Spirit within. Adding to the spirit-stirring service was the Christ Embassy choir which sang heartfelt praises, impacting the audience.

It was certainly a delightful service packed with music, scripture and powerful words spoken by the one and only, the man of God, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome. Such excitement has indeed created high expectations for the next Global Communion Service.
Amen!
