The foundation’s target is to explore and expand young potential leaders in Africa, for Africa. The organization aims to identify qualified candidates, celebrate their achievements and contributions to society. These initiatives are done through several diverse projects directed at building the resilience of the community, specifically the young generation, preparing them and Africa as a whole to a new bright future.

The foundation enjoys and celebrates the role of identifying, training and supporting the outstanding youth in Africa. It is their delight to emphasize and celebrate those who have demonstrated exemplary leadership qualities in a verity of fields. All this to raise the level of intellectual, political, technological, financial and economic in the region. There are many challenges facing Africa today, that’s why it’s so important to give a hand and do something for those young frontrunners providing attainable and sustainable solutions.

Thus, on the 31st of December, on an annual basis, the FALF hosts an award event, the FALA (Future African Leaders’ Awards). The award ceremony is put in place it honor the distinguished young individuals that have impacted their communities and thus created a positive change in Africa as a whole. The candidates come from across the continent, from many cultures and all walks of life. The awards ceremony is a platform where young women and men are recognized through an encouraging award to further and pursue their development initiatives, fostering growth and prosperity all across Africa.

Last year (2016), the star prize winner was Karen Musodza from South Africa. Her prize was due to her outstanding work she’s done in her community, and the tremendous impact her contribution had on the lives of youths surrounding her. Musodza organized the “Youth against Crime” campaign in her province. The campaign was in collaboration with the local police, organizing several workshops for at-risk youth, helping then avoid crime and make the right choices to enhance their future. In addition to Musodza’s great contribution, many other of the winners are not left out from being recognized for their charitable work and development initiatives in their local municipalities.

This year, the event will take place at the prestigious Loveworld Convocation Arena (LCA) on the night of the 31stof December. The occasion is a part of the 2017 Global New Year’s Eve Service lead by the esteemed philanthropist, Pastor Chris. The event will be live streamed by all Loveworld networks, on global satellite stations; viewed by millions across the globe.

The 2017 FALA is expected to be an unforgettable experience for all participants, and an evening to remember for the nominees and star prize winner. No doubt the best part of the evening will be reading the citations of the nominees, presenting their unique contributions to their respective countries.
