Welcome to the ‘Month of Eagles’ with Pastor Chris

During the Global Communion Service, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome declared November as the ‘Month of Eagles’, drawing inspiration from Isaiah 40:31:

“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

This declaration invites believers to embody the characteristics of eagles—strength, vision, and resilience—in their spiritual journey.

During the Global Communion Service, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome declared November as the ‘Month of Eagles’.

Embracing the Eagle’s Strength

Eagles are renowned for their powerful wings and ability to soar at great altitudes. In the same vein, Pastor Chris encourages believers to draw strength from the Lord, enabling them to rise above life’s challenges. By waiting upon the Lord, as the scripture suggests, individuals can experience a renewal of strength, empowering them to overcome obstacles with grace and confidence.

Cultivating Vision and Clarity

Eagles possess exceptional vision, allowing them to see far and wide. This month, believers are urged to seek divine clarity and purpose. By aligning with God’s vision, one can navigate life’s path with precision, making decisions that reflect His will and purpose.

Demonstrating Resilience and Endurance

The scripture emphasizes running without weariness and walking without fainting. This speaks to the resilience and endurance that believers are called to exhibit. In the ‘Month of Eagles’, there is a focus on steadfastness in faith, maintaining momentum in spiritual growth, and persevering through trials with unwavering trust in God’s promises.

Reflecting on Previous Themes

In October, Pastor Chris declared it the ‘Month of Excellence’, urging believers to practice excellence in all aspects of life. This progression from excellence to embodying the eagle’s attributes signifies a journey towards spiritual maturity and empowerment.

Practical Steps for the Month

  1. Deepen Spiritual Practices: Engage in regular prayer and meditation, seeking to renew strength and gain clarity.
  2. Set Clear Goals: Like the eagle’s focused vision, set clear spiritual and personal goals, aligning them with God’s purpose.
  3. Build Resilience: Embrace challenges as opportunities for growth, trusting in God’s provision and strength.
  4. Foster Community: Encourage and support fellow believers, sharing insights and experiences to uplift one another.

The ‘Month of Eagles’ is a divine invitation to rise to new spiritual heights, embodying strength, vision, and resilience. By embracing these attributes, believers can navigate life’s journey with renewed vigor and purpose, reflecting the glory and majesty of God in all they do.
