As Pastor Chris Oyakhilome celebrated his birthday with a Royal Thanksgiving Service, he was joined by distinguished guests who came together to thank God for the impactful life and ministry of the Man of God.
The Royal Thanksgiving Service for Loveworld President, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, was a glamorous extravaganza. The special service was held to celebrate his 60th birthday which took place on the 7th of December at the prestigious LoveWorld Convocation Arena (LCA) in Nigeria. The occasion was attended by special dignitaries, Pastors, and members of Christ Embassy, together with family and friends from all around the world.
This was the venue that was used to host many other special events, however, it was recently renovated and underwent extensive reconstruction and beautification fit for a king.
Praise and thanksgiving
The Royal Thanksgiving Service was all about praising Pastor Chris and giving thanks to God for his life and his ministry that has impacted so many millions of people and transformed so many lives all over the world.
The event was filled with love and appreciation, gratitude, and praise with the Loveworld Singers singing gospel songs of worship, while senior Pastors in the ministry read scripture, and Reverend Ray Okocha, a member of the Loveworld CEC and Director of Church Consolidation Missions, delivered a special sermon.
Governor Babajide Sonwo-olu of Lagos State delivered a message of goodwill and commended Pastor Chris for his selfless and immeasurable contributions to humanity everywhere, but especially in Lagos State. He referred to Pastor Chris affectionately as “our father” and urged everyone to continually pray for him and his family.
Our Man of God, Pastor Chris got a chance to respond by expressing profound gratitude to God for being granted the privilege of being a blessing to so many people around the world, and for God’s ever-increasing grace in his life.
Pastor Chris is certainly a man worth celebrating every day, a man worth celebrating every day. The Man of God continues to be a source of gratitude and hope for so many believers in so many nations worldwide, who have benefitted from the impact of his global ministry.
The impact of Pastor Chris continues
As the Man of God was celebrated, commemorated, and honored on his birthday, his philanthropy and humanitarian acts of generosity know no bounds.
A day following the celebrations, on the 8th of December 2023, the prestigious LoveWorld Medical Center was opened.
The medical center opened under the auspices of the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation International (COFI), the humanitarian arm of the ministry, has again achieved a resounding feat with its numerous humanitarian contributions to saving lives worldwide.
The medical center is ultra-modern and boasts state-of-the-art facilities located in Lagos, Nigeria.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was at the groundbreaking ceremony accompanied by the special guest of honor, former President of Liberia, Her Excellency, Madam Ellen Johnson Sirleaf.
There were numerous other highly esteemed members of LoveWorld Inc. and senior ministry officials in attendance.
The highly esteemed Pastor Deola Philips, Chairman of the Board of the Loveworld Medical Centre, called on the special guest of honor to officiate the ceremony by cutting the tape and opening the LoveWorld Medical Centre.
In a press release about the event, it was stated: “The Loveworld Medical Centre is a Christ-centered medical complex that will provide advanced, trusted, wholesome healthcare to patients with all manner of ailments. This will be achieved by offering access to resuscitation, emergency surgical procedures, specialized medical and diagnostic facilities, intensive and high-dependency care wards, blood banking, and other allied services by the hospital’s highly skilled medical and allied personnel who are committed to saving lives.”
This marks another significant contribution to healthcare services from the LoveWorld Nation, facilitating emergency and trauma responses in Nigeria.
