The renowned Pastor Chris, founder of LoveWorld Incorporated, has officially started his Bible Tour 2018, which takes place from May 10th- May 18th. The Pastor, a major philanthropist of his time, organized this trip with a goal of bridging the gap between Christians and Jews in their mutually loved country of Israel. Pastor Chris will be accompanied by hundreds of people to join in on this incredible journey. The reasoning behind the trip is to bring believers closer to the Bible, its roots and thus God.
The second day of this marvelous tour included a stop at Abu Ghosh, a town mentioned in the Gospel of Luke from the New Testament. Luke reports that Jesus appeared, after his death and resurrection, before two of his disciples while they were walking on the road to Emmaus. The site represents a path Christians must take to follow in Christ’s steps throughout their lives. The Pastor spoke about how, in our personal lives, we need to find ways to connect to Jesus. The Lord is in the small things just as much as our large events, it is not enough to connect to Him on a Holy Land Tour or other momentous event, the key is to find Him in our day to day lives.
In addition the tour had a once in a lifetime experience at the Western Wall in Jerusalem. The Western Wall is the only remaining wall that surrounded the Temple Mount during the Second Temple period. The site holds great holiness for both Jews and Christians, and as such is a site Pastor Chris made sure no group joining the visit would miss.
The Holy Land Tour’s presence at the Western Wall played a crucial role in the spiritual heights participants and observers were able to reach. The Western Wall is a place where people come and pray to their Lord. The Holy Spirit’s occurrence was felt throughout the entire duration of the visit.
