Don’t be ashamed in the Gospel

“…every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world” (1 John 4:3)

To fully understand the opening scripture of today’s Rhapsody of the Day, we must continue and read the following verse:

“You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world” (1 John 4:4)

There are people in the world that are connected to the antichrist and that hate everything about Jesus. But you cannot let them into your life. You must ignore their bad spirit since you can overcome them through your faith.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome constantly preaches about the importance of spreading the Word of God in your community. Connect yourself to your local Christ Embassy church with the aim of doing God’s work.

At times, we are fearful to preach the gospel to such non-believer, because we are not sure of their reaction. Resist that fear! Refuse to be intimidated by their arrogance in the face of God. Proclaim the gospel with consciousness. Be aware that Christ is in you and that you can overcome any hardship, if you shine and portray His Word, your surroundings will notice and follow.

Paul said:

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile” (Romans 1:16)

No one is unfit for the gospel, it is for everyone. It will change anyone’s life as long as they are open to the Word of God. But for them to believe, they must hear the Lords Word. You must take on that responsibility and preach to all that comes your way so that they have the opportunity to be saved.

“…for they can’t hear without a preacher” (Romans 10:14)

Thus you must be bold and fierce in your intent to preach to all those around you. The Holy Spirit will shine through you when you portray God’s will. Understand that you’re the bearer of His glory and righteousness in the world. You’re the distributor of His mercies and Grace. You are the Lord’s partner in winning souls. He demands of you to fulfill this duty, do so fearlessly.

Through your hard work, He will pull those in the darkness into the light. Help Christ’s kingdom expand around the world. The Lord is your strength, hold onto it and you will never be alone. Allow His glory to take hold of your life!
